Talks

Guest Speaker

Rt.Rev.Bishop Liverson Mng'onda, ACK
Diocese of Taita Taveta

Key points by Bishop Liverson Mng'onda:

  1. There is a desire for the university to succeed
  2. To earn respect, respect yourself first
  3. Work hard for both your professionalism and your own self.
  4. If you do great things, you become much bigger with the help of our Good Lord.
  5. Never consider yourself a failure, in fact, replace the word "failure" with "success."
  6. Don't be more complaining, the forward moment is unlimited, have gratitude which translates to a Positive Attitude
  7. Whenever you are under stress, just know that you are under the test...but finally, you shall overcome
  8. Never give up, even if it takes years to succeed, or have a single job position for many years.
  9. Success expires, hence we cannot stick to the success of the past...but a futuristic success. New Glory=Present Glory.
  10. Try to find out 3 or 4 obstacles on your way and fight them...overcome them through God's help.
  11. Keep on seeking you will find...All the doors are deserved by all who knock

 Conclusions:

Fear is one of the key reasons to becoming unsuccessful!

Jesus was held back by several factors in his environment, and so do we, but;
"Against all odds, Christ evaded all Worldly noises and only focused by deeply depending on God's providence."
