Did you know that the state-of-the-art Nairobi Expressway doesn't allow 2-Wheeled (Bodaboda & Bicycles etc.) and 3-Wheeled vehicles (Tuktuks etc.)? As Such, the maximum Speed must always be 80km/hr.

Miss Grace Akoth, Moja Expressway Company Business Development Officer-Corporate Affairs took us through Safety Policies that need to be observed by the General Public & Motor Vehicle Owners at their Exhibition Stand during the concluded UN-HABITAT 2nd General Assembly on Sustainable Urban Future through Inclusive and Effective Multilateralism: Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals #SDGs in Times of Global Crises!
The New ETC and MTC Cashless Access

The company also introduced ETC (For Non-Stop Cashless Access with a 5% off per Trip) and MTC (a Tap-and-go card-based Cashless access with a 2% off per Trip). The two are applicable by creating a customer account at https://customer.nairobiexpressway.ke. Once applied, you collect the card at the Service Centre located at City Cabanas Mombasa Rd; Nairobi Expressway Plaza.
Cash payment is also inclusive by pressing the voucher button at the entry station, and paying using the voucher at exit.
NB: Ambulances, Police Vehicles, Military vehicles, and Fire Engines are exempted from the Road use service charge.
