Saitoti on the Spot over Drug Report





Members of parliament implicated in the narcotics trade after they were mentioned last month by Internal Security Minister George Saitoti as being under investigation over the same demanded an apology from the minister, saying their family and business lives had been hard hit as a result of the allegations. And, as Abdi Osman reports, legislators John Harun Mwau, William Kabogo, Gidion Mbuvi Kioko and Hassan Joho engaged Saitoti in a heated debate as they demanded that they be cleared after an interim police report cited that there was no evidence linking them to the drugs trade.
