Kenya-Egypt Bilateral Relations

Following a one day on Sunday,4th October-Monday,5th October visit by H.E President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta in Egypt where he met his counterpart, Egypt's President Abdel Fattah-Al Sisi, this made it easy for trade relations between the two African nations.

This saw Commercial Bank of Egypt (CIB) becoming the first bank to establish its presence in Kenya in April this 2020.

Its due to these ties that Many Egyptian countries have expressed interest in investing in Kenya's Investment opportunities; starting herein with Wady El Nile.

Wady El Nile has so far established its New Branch in Nairobi, Kenya.

The Jubilee Government has set a target of building 500,000 new affordable houses. Wady El Nile has positioned itself in Kenya to help deliver on this government transformation agenda. Wady El Nile has built over 30,000 residential homes during its period of existence.

it's worth noting that Wady El Nile has got excellent payment strategies of up to 7-year instalments; which will be of much help in fulfilling the Kenyan Government goal on "Affordable Housing" which will be affordable for all Kenyan social classes.

Big Four Agenda III: Universal Health Coverage for all Kenyans

The national government has invested heavily to make access to health care a reality for millions of Kenyans at affordable or no cost. In the delivery of this agenda, the government aims at setting up and refurbishing existing health infrastructure all across the country. Wady El Nile has extensive experience in developing health-related infrastructure with over 850 health units, emergency departments, blood banks and radiology centres. In addition, Wady El Nile has developed and equipped over 1800 units. Wady El Nile’s experience in the health sector makes it a potentially very strong partner for the government of Kenya in delivery of this agenda.

Big Four Agenda II:100% Food Security and Nutrition

The Government of Kenya has a target of placing over 1,000,000 acres of arid and semi-arid land under irrigation by the end of the financial year 2020-2021. This is in order to boost food security and ensure access to food for all and a decent life for all Kenyans. Wady El Nile is strategically positioned to support the Government of Kenya deliver on this agenda owing to its experience in setting up irrigation infrastructure in Egypt. Wady El Nile has developed dozens of kilometres of irrigation channels, canals and waterways in Egypt and across the region.

VISION 2030 Foundation Pillar IV: Deploying World Class Infrastructure Facilities and Services

Development of Key Infrastructure has been a key focus of the Government of Kenya, in particular Roads, Rail, Energy and Water Infrastructure. These are critical interventions that are required to jump-start the economy and vault the country to a middle-income industrialized status as spelt out in Vision 2030, the national development blueprint. Wady El Nile has established and developed more than 250 railway stations and 3 main ports according to the world-class standards and requirements in this industry. This experience makes Wady El Nile an ideal partner in the fulfilment of the infrastructure vision spelt out in Kenya’s vision 2030
